Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage (30 mins)
Our backs take a lot of pressure in our lives—whether from work or play! Tension can be carried in our neck, shoulders, lower back…causing us stress and pain. Who of us doesn’t need to treat this essential part of our body with a bit of TLC? The Half-Hour Back Massage is a wonderful treatment to ease away these pains.
If you would like to come at least a 15mins before your treatment starts, you can begin your experience by relaxing and filling out your consultation form.
Once in the room, your therapist will ask a few questions to personalise your massage to help you get the most from this treatment. You will be asked if you have any specific area/s you would like her to concentrate on—what type of pressure you prefer. You may want light pressure to help you relax or maybe deep pressure to help work out those annoying knots! Your therapist will adjust your massage to suit your needs. Your back will thank you at the end of your session.
After your massage your therapist will encourage you to drink plenty of water and stay away from caffeine to help continue to rid your body of toxins. You can enjoy a glass or two of water before you go back to your busy lifestyle.
Full Body Massage (60mins)
Your therapist will greet you and take you to your room for your Swedish Massage treatment. As you walk into the room you will be greeted with a welcoming, calm atmosphere set by the dim, candle lit room.
Relaxing music will soothe your senses.
Your therapist will leave you for a few minutes while you settle yourself onto the heated treatment bed. When she returns, she will question you on your preferred massage pressure, if you have any specific areas you want targeted. The massage will start with the back of your legs, working out the soreness and stress from all the time you spend on them.
Moving up onto your back, neck and shoulders, your therapist will work out any tension and knots found there. It is wonderful to feel the stress just seeping away. When the back is finished you will turn over onto your back for the final part of your massage. Starting with the feet, the therapist will massage them with her knuckles. Your lower legs will be massaged and soothed. Finally the arms, fingers and across the top of your chest and neck receive the attention they need to finish off this treatment.
After the massage is finished, a glass of water will be brought in to you and you can relax until your ready to get back up.
Indian Head Massage (45 mins)
This relaxing face, neck, shoulder and head massage is steeped in Indian tradition. Its form originated from a method called “Champi” which means “head massage” in Indian. This form of massage has been passed down from generation to generation until it was turned into what we know today as Indian Head Massage.
This treatment can be carried out in a seated position but we here at Evolve we find that it is more effective carried out while you are lying down. Your therapist will begin by getting you to take some deep relaxing breaths, then she will lay her hands on your upper back and begin the treatment. She will use a vast array of massage movements along the upper back, shoulders, down the arms, into the neck and then focus on the head.
Using tradition champi movements the scalp and head is massaged to ease out any tension. Most people who suffer from migraines, sinus and tired eyes (to name just a few!) will experience a major improvement after just one treatment.
Once your therapist has finished working on the back of the body, she will continue the massage on the neck and the front of your head finishing the treatment by using a lovely pressure point massage on your face.
Once the massage is over, your therapist will also balance out the top 3 energy points known, as Chakra’s. This will help bring balance, wellbeing and relaxation to the entire body. This treatment is fantastic for anyone who suffers any shoulder aches or pains or tension headaches but is also great for anyone who works on a computer or is studying for long hours.
